We wanted to extend that feeling of a retreat,” she explains. Working with the apartment interior design and luxurious product from Berkeley, Barac and her team chose a neutral furniture styling palette with subtle pops of colour to create a mindful and calming environment. “We worked with the natural colours of the timbers and the metals to re昀氀ect the landscape,” she says. “One of our accent colours is a deep shade of green, reminiscent of the forest we always try to use nature to shade rather than arti昀椀cial or loud colours. – ”The interiors have been thoughtfully designed to suggest “a sense of grandeur and elegance – we wanted to create a timeless style that will appeal to the discerning individual,” says Barac. “Looking ahead to the future, our hope is the resident can sit in their living room looking out onto Paddington Green and the landscaped lush gardens, and experience a seamless transition between the Discover the full interview... interiors, architecture and landscape.” 56 57
